Adhesive clear vinyl is a 4 mil clear PVC film with a clear permanent adhesive backing. It is made for transparent flat-surface graphics, glass decals, clear labels, and window graphics where light needs to pass through the printed area.

CMYK ink prints directly onto the clear material. White artwork areas will appear clear because this product does not include white ink, so files should be prepared with that transparency behavior in mind.

File Setup

• Accepted file formats: PDF or JPEG, single page only
• Use CMYK color when possible
• Recommended raster resolution: 150 dpi at final size
• Build artwork at the ordered size when possible
• Do not include crop marks or bleeds unless requested
• Convert live fonts to outlines before submitting print-ready files
• Convert Pantone or spot colors to CMYK for production

Installation Notes

• Apply to clean, flat, smooth surfaces only.
• Clear vinyl may remain slightly visible after installation on clear substrates.
• Printed colors can appear less vivid because of the clear material and the viewing surface behind it.

FAQ

Will white areas print white?

No. White areas in the artwork will appear clear because this product does not include white ink.

Is it repositionable?

No. The clear permanent adhesive is not intended for repeated repositioning.

Will colors look different on glass?

Yes. Printed color can appear lighter or more transparent because the material is clear.
